Marshall, MI— James “Jase” Bolger’s Campaign for State Representative announced today the endorsements of several prominent Michigan organizations. The three organizations announcing support for Bolger include the Michigan State Medical Society, Citizens for Traditional Values, and the Michigan Credit Union League.

MDPAC is the non-partisan political action committee of the 15,000-member Michigan State Medical Society.

“Physicians in Michigan want the best state government possible for all citizens and Jase Bolger will provide that for the citizens in his district,” said Scot Goldberg, MD, MBA chair of the MDPAC board of directors. “Jase is also a small business owner and he is someone who physicians can relate to."

The Citizens for Traditional Values have been involved in Michigan politics since 1991, laboring to advance guiding principles of Faith and Family, Sanctity of Life, Proper Role of Government, and Excellence in Education.

The Michigan Credit Union League Action Fund provides financial and grassroots to support to candidates that support the credit union philosophy of “people helping people”. The MCULAF is sponsored by the Michigan Credit Union League, a statewide trade association representing 90% of Michigan’s 355 credit unions and their approximately 4.4 million members.

In 2006, Michigan’s credit unions packed a powerful political punch. Over 500,000 “Get Out The Vote,” or GOTV statement stuffers identifying endorsed candidates for state and federal office were mailed to credit union members along with their monthly statement. Thousands of GOTV posters were printed and distributed to credit unions to display in their lobby.

Bolger commented, “I am honored to have the support of these diverse organizations who care about and care for the families in our district.”

James “Jase” Bolger is a Kalamazoo small business owner and Calhoun County Commissioner. He and his wife, Molly, are raising their two teenage children in Marshall. Bolger is running for State Representative in the 63rd District, looking to succeed term limited Lorence Wenke, R-Galesburg. The 63rd District covers portions of Kalamazoo and Calhoun Counties.
