James “Jase” Bolger Announces Listening Tour Stops

Marshall, MI— Calhoun County Commissioner Jase Bolger’s Campaign for State Representative announced today plans to begin a listening tour on September 29th which will continue into the month of October. The tour will give residents the opportunity to meet the Candidate and ask questions in townships across the 63rd District.

Listening tour stops have been scheduled for the following dates from 8-9AM:

Marshall, MI— James “Jase” Bolger’s Campaign for State Representative announced today the endorsements of several prominent Michigan organizations. The three organizations announcing support for Bolger include the Michigan Townships Association, the Michigan Ground Water Association, and the Michigan Association of Realtors.

The Michigan Townships Association PAC was established in 1982 to participate in elections for the Michigan House and Senate. The committee represents more than 99 percent of Michigan’s 1,242 townships and 6,500 elected township officials.

“MTA-PAC is pleased to endorse James Bolger,” said Tom Frazier, legislative liaison to the MTA-PAC. “As a Calhoun County commissioner, he clearly understands what makes local government unique and vital to the future success of our state. We look forward to working with Jase when he’s elected to state office.”

The Michigan Ground Water Association’s District 10 also endorsed Bolger in his bid for State Representative. “Jase Bolger is steadfast in principal and political belief and has worked tirelessly to uphold and protect the rights of his constituents. Jase Bolger supports individual and small business rights,” said Ray Leonard, President of the MGWA, district 10. “He has our staunch support and loyalty”.

The Battle Creek Area Association of REALTORS® (BCAAR), Greater Kalamazoo Association of REALTORS® (GKAR) and Michigan Association of REALTORS® (MAR) are endorsing James "Jase" Bolger (R-Marshall) for election to the Michigan House of Representatives, District 63. A select panel of BCAAR and GKAR REALTOR® members conducted interviews with candidates for the Michigan House and concluded that Bolger is best qualified for the position.

“Jase Bolger offers a wealth of experience as a business owner and local government official that Lansing needs right now. We support his candidacy because he is a strong natural advocate for the home and business owners, buyers, and sellers in the 63rd District,” said Matt Davis, President of the BCAAR.

"State government needs leaders to take action to attract job providers. Jase is the candidate in this race that will do this,” said Gary Brown, President of the GKAR.

Bolger commented, “These organizations represent things so dear to the families in our communities. From local government to drinking water and to the American dream and most people’s biggest investment: home ownership. I am thrilled that they each think I can do the best job on these issues for our families.”

Marshall, MI— James “Jase” Bolger’s Campaign for State Representative announced today the endorsements of several prominent Michigan organizations. The three organizations announcing support for Bolger include the Michigan State Medical Society, Citizens for Traditional Values, and the Michigan Credit Union League.

MDPAC is the non-partisan political action committee of the 15,000-member Michigan State Medical Society.

“Physicians in Michigan want the best state government possible for all citizens and Jase Bolger will provide that for the citizens in his district,” said Scot Goldberg, MD, MBA chair of the MDPAC board of directors. “Jase is also a small business owner and he is someone who physicians can relate to."

The Citizens for Traditional Values have been involved in Michigan politics since 1991, laboring to advance guiding principles of Faith and Family, Sanctity of Life, Proper Role of Government, and Excellence in Education.

The Michigan Credit Union League Action Fund provides financial and grassroots to support to candidates that support the credit union philosophy of “people helping people”. The MCULAF is sponsored by the Michigan Credit Union League, a statewide trade association representing 90% of Michigan’s 355 credit unions and their approximately 4.4 million members.

In 2006, Michigan’s credit unions packed a powerful political punch. Over 500,000 “Get Out The Vote,” or GOTV statement stuffers identifying endorsed candidates for state and federal office were mailed to credit union members along with their monthly statement. Thousands of GOTV posters were printed and distributed to credit unions to display in their lobby.

Marshall, MI— James “Jase” Bolger’s Campaign for State Representative announced today the endorsements of several prominent Michigan organizations. The three organizations announcing support for Bolger include the Police Officers Association of Michigan (POAM), the National Federation of Independent Business, and the Michigan Association of Insurance Agents.

The Police Officers Association of Michigan represents over 12,000 law enforcement employees throughout the State of Michigan and is the largest such organization in the state. The organization offers its endorsement based upon careful review of candidates who support improving safety, working conditions, and economic security of their public safety members.

Charlie Owens, State Director of the Michigan chapter of the National Federation of Independent Business announced the support of the small business group because of Bolger’s understanding regarding providing jobs in Michigan.

“After a careful review of the candidates we have found that Jase Bolger has a keen understanding of the problems facing employers and their employees,” Owens said. “We wish Jase success in the upcoming election and we look forward to working with him in the Michigan legislature.”
